This 2023 Hindi-language comedy-drama follows a jobless chemistry tutor in Karnal who secretly takes a quality-control position at a condom factory, telling her family she works at an umbrella-making unit instead. As she falls in love and gets engaged, she must keep hiding her real job from her conservative future in-laws, even as a family health scare pushes her to start openly campaigning for contraceptive use and sex education in her town. The film uses her personal dilemma to explore social taboos around contraception and reproductive health in small-town India.
