Chandi Veeran is a 2015 Tamil romantic action drama directed by A. Sarkunam, centered on a long-running dispute between two villages over access to a shared pond's water. Paari, who lost his father to this feud years earlier, returns home from Singapore and falls for Thamarai, whose father controls the water supply and opposes their relationship. As tensions between the villages threaten to boil over into violence, Paari tries to bridge the divide while pursuing his romance with Thamarai.
