This 1984 Telugu drama, adapted from Yandamuri Veerendranath's novel, follows a poor young man who, after losing his mother and being left penniless, is dared by a wealthy businessman to legally earn a large fortune within five years. As he builds his fortune and forms complicated relationships with the businessman's daughter and a woman he rescued, he faces sabotage and betrayal from those around him.
