This 2021 Tamil-language action thriller follows a wave of coordinated burglaries carried out across dozens of homes on Independence Day, prompting an army officer and a police officer to team up on the case after his own family becomes a target. Their investigation into a cybercrime and online-services scam leads them toward a skilled hacker orchestrating the thefts from behind the scenes. Marketed as a spiritual follow-up to the director's earlier hit due to shared themes, the film had a theatrical release and drew a mixed critical response.
