Bulandi is a 2000 Hindi drama, a remake of a Tamil film, centered on Dharamraj Thakur, a village patriarch whose authority is treated as absolute law after his father's death. When his younger brother Arjun is falsely accused of assaulting a schoolteacher, the family's fate hinges on Dharamraj's judgment, while an earlier family tragedy involving their father's own harsh verdict resurfaces through flashback to shape the unfolding conflict.
