A celebrated writer travels to Mumbai with a fictional detective and his young companion to observe the filming of a movie adaptation of his novel. Their visit becomes entangled in a criminal conspiracy involving a stolen necklace and mysterious attacks, forcing the detective to unravel the truth behind a mysterious package and a real building that eerily mirrors the writer's fictional creation.
