A young couple moves into a high-rise flat offered at a suspiciously low rent, unaware that its previous tenant, a widow, died there under tragic and violent circumstances. After the husband hides this history from his wife, she begins acting strangely and displaying signs of being possessed, drawing the attention of a police inspector investigating a death in the building. As the husband seeks help from a doctor and later an exorcist, he starts uncovering the disturbing truth behind the apartment's past.
