This 2009 Malayalam comedy-drama follows Benny Chacko, a cable TV operator obsessed with getting rich, who marries Daisy mainly hoping for a large dowry. When her family cannot pay it, he mistreats her and sends her away, straining both households. His outlook shifts when Daisy unexpectedly comes into a large sum of money, forcing him to reconsider his choices while his sister's own marriage plans add further complications involving dowry demands.
