Bangistan

Set in the fictional, religiously divided nation of Bangistan, this satirical black comedy follows two young men from opposing faiths who have each been indoctrinated by their respective religious mentors to carry out a suicide bombing at an international religious conference in Poland. Adopting false identities tied to the other's religion, they unexpectedly form a bond while preparing for their separate missions, leading to complications as their true intentions and identities come to light. The story mocks religious extremism and the manipulation of young followers by powerful religious figures.
