In a small town on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border, a kabaddi player nicknamed Balti and his close-knit group of friends earn the attention of a local strongman after a tournament win, drawing them into his illegal moneylending and land business. When a brutal act tied to that operation harms someone close to Balti, he begins to turn against the very network he helped build, setting off a violent conflict among the town's rival power brokers.
