After a car accident blinds him, a man secretly gives up his newborn blind son, who grows up as a temple priest's ward while his other son is raised in wealth and grows spoiled. Years later the two brothers' lives intertwine when the blind son, now sighted again, falls for a village girl and travels to the city to secure money for her dowry, only to be mistaken for his long-lost twin, who is himself entangled in a scandal involving a missing fortune and a woman's death. The story follows how these separated brothers and their romantic entanglements eventually collide.
