This Telugu period drama follows Bachhala Malli, a hard-drinking, hot-tempered village outcast whose present-day struggles are traced back to his fractured relationship with his father, who left the family for another woman when Malli was a child. Moving between the 1980s and 1990s, the story follows Malli's descent from a promising student into a bitter, self-destructive man, and his turbulent romance with a young woman named Kaveri, which becomes entangled with his unresolved family resentment and clashes with local power figures. The film centers on themes of abandonment, pride, and the lasting damage of childhood trauma on adult relationships.
