Awara Baap

This 1985 Hindi drama follows Raj, the estranged, hard-drinking son of a wealthy businessman, whose lonely upbringing after his mother's death leaves him distant from his father. His life changes when he rescues a woman named Rupa from a life of exploitation and falls in love with her, but family financial pressures and his father's schemes force him into an arranged marriage instead, with tragic consequences that haunt him for years afterward.
