When Kerala's Chief Minister survives an assassination attempt on August 15, Crime Branch officer DYSP Perumal is put in charge of the case. His investigation leads him to Abraham, an elusive hired killer who operates under multiple identities and leaves no trace, setting off a tense pursuit between the two men. The story serves as a follow-up to the 1988 film August 1, featuring the same writer.
