This 2010 Hindi comedy follows a Mumbai screenwriter and his wife whose orderly household is thrown into chaos when a distant, overbearing uncle shows up unannounced and refuses to leave. As the uncle's loud habits, meddling and unpredictable antics disrupt the couple's work and home life, they scramble through a series of failed schemes to get rid of him, even as their young son adores having him around. The story, adapted from a Sharad Joshi short story, blends domestic farce with the couple's growing exasperation at their unwanted long-term guest.
