Set in rural Tamil Nadu, this 1997 masala drama follows a well-regarded village leader whose life changes when he learns he was adopted, prompting him to leave for the city. There, he discovers he is actually the son of a late tycoon and stands to inherit a massive fortune, but only if he meets a set of strict, unusual conditions tied to spending the money within a limited time. Loosely inspired by an early 20th-century novel about a similar inheritance challenge, the story blends family drama with this test of wealth and integrity.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
