Set around the Mookambika Temple, the film follows Aravindan, a young man raised by a kind-hearted hotel owner after being left at the temple by his mother as a child. When a visiting Bharatanatyam student named Varada injures herself and stays at the lodge, the two grow close, and she eventually learns of his quiet longing to find his mother. Determined to help, Varada begins piecing together clues from his childhood drawings and memories to trace his family's past.
