This 1997 Telugu devotional drama traces the life of the medieval poet-saint Annamacharya, depicted as a divine figure born to devout parents who becomes captivated by Lord Venkateswara after a chance temple visit. Leaving his family behind, he settles at Tirumala to compose devotional songs, eventually marrying his two cousins and later gaining favor as a court poet under ruler Saluva Narasimha, even as his devotion is tested by royal and religious authorities.
