Set in Udaipur, the story follows Champak Bansal, a widowed sweet-shop owner, who is determined to help his daughter Tarika fulfill her dream of studying in London despite her average academic record. After a public clash with a corrupt judge costs Tarika her scholarship, Champak vows to get her abroad anyway, leading him and his squabbling half-brother Gopi into a chain of misadventures involving fake passports, deportation, and encounters with various London locals as they try to secure funds for her education. The comedy-drama blends family bonds with the chaos of navigating bureaucracy and unfamiliar surroundings in a foreign country.
