Andaz

Andaz is a 1994 Hindi action-comedy directed by David Dhawan, following Ajay, a young teacher at his former school, who becomes the target of persistent pranks and romantic pursuit from his student Jaya. When he unexpectedly marries an unschooled orphan named Saraswati, Jaya instead forms a close bond with her, teaching her to read, write and cook, even as tensions build. A sudden hostage crisis at the school then forces all three into a dramatic and dangerous confrontation. The film is a remake of the Tamil movie Sundara Kandam.
