Amanaat

Set in a drought-hit village where rain hasn't fallen in three years, the story follows a young man aspiring to lead his community who sets out to find a solution to their water crisis after a wealthy landlord refuses to help. His journey takes him to the city to purchase a water pump, but he is robbed of his money and belongings there. While in the city, he saves a stranger from a beating and forms a friendship with him, only to later discover this new friend was connected to the theft.
