Set in a village, this 1995 Telugu action comedy follows Sitaram, son of a respected longtime village leader, whose family becomes targeted by a scheming local woman and her ally after a wealthy NRI's son chooses to marry Sitaram's sister instead of the family's preferred bride. Greed over valuable land, a false pregnancy scandal, and fabricated criminal charges push Sitaram into a fight to protect his family's honor and reclaim what has been taken from his community. Directed by E. V. V. Satyanarayana and starring Chiranjeevi, the film became a major commercial hit despite drawing censorship controversy over certain scenes.
