Set in Chennai, this Tamil musical drama follows Karthik, a software entrepreneur from a well-off family, and Shakthi, a medical student from a modest household, whose chance meetings on suburban trains blossom into romance despite their families' objections. When parental disapproval derails their engagement, the couple secretly marries and moves in together, only to face new strains as they navigate financial pressures, family estrangement, and the everyday friction of building a life together. Told largely through Karthik's recollections, the film examines how young love is tested by the pull between personal choice and family tradition.
