Aatha Un Koyilile

ஆத்தா உன் கோயிலிலே

Tamil · 1991 · 135 min

Directed by Kasthuri Raja — Kasthuri · Selva

This 1991 Tamil drama, directed by Kasthuri Raja, follows Pandi, the son of a powerful and rigid village leader, as he falls for Easwari, a girl from a poorer family, defying the village's strict social hierarchy. Their romance echoes an earlier tragedy involving a woman named Kasthuri, whose relationship with a lower-caste blacksmith once brought violent consequences under the same village leader's rule. As Pandi and Easwari's relationship faces similar threats, other villagers begin to question the leader's harsh authority over caste and marriage customs.

Where to watch in USA

We haven’t been able to find out. The catalogues we check have no entry for this film at all, which is common for older and regional releases — it means nobody could tell us, not that it isn’t streaming.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
