Aashirwad

This Hindi drama follows Jogi Thakur, a principled man who lives on his in-laws' estate under his domineering wife's control, and who walks away from his marriage and young daughter after discovering her mother's cruelty toward tenants. Years later, after a stint entertaining children in Mumbai, he returns to his home village and ends up imprisoned for defending a friend's daughter, where he forms an unexpected bond with the prison doctor who happens to be engaged to the daughter he left behind.
