A young man from a village travels to the city to earn money for his sister's wedding and becomes involved with a thief. When he and his companions are hired to spend a night in a supposedly haunted house to help its owner sell the property, they encounter unexpected obstacles and must devise schemes to overcome rivals who are working against them.
