A notorious bandit devises a plan to escape his criminal life by finding someone to impersonate him, submit to arrest, and take his place in execution. He recruits a desperate villager facing personal tragedy to play this role. However, a shocking revelation—that the imposter is actually the bandit's younger brother—sets in motion events that force the protagonist to fight for his brother's innocence.
