This 1968 Hindi drama, directed by A. Bhimsingh and based on a 1962 Tamil film, follows Rajesh, an orphaned heir from a wealthy family who as a boy loved and lost a girl named Meena, keeping her memory alive through a childhood doll. As an adult, he falls for another woman also named Meena, helps her family, and introduces her to his close friend Dr. Shekhar before their engagement. A car accident leaves Rajesh disabled, and he then discovers a growing closeness between Meena and Shekhar, reawakening old possessive and vengeful feelings he had long suppressed.
