This 1969 Telugu drama follows a large, affluent joint family whose members struggle with laziness, self-absorption and interference from relatives, leaving only the eldest son and his wife to shoulder the household's responsibilities. When the youngest son returns from the city with his new bride, a doctor, the couple notices how badly the family's harmony has eroded amid financial excess and constant quarrels. They begin planning a scheme meant to expose the family's dysfunction and push things toward change.
