This Telugu-language drama, the parallel version of a Tamil film by K. Balachander, follows a young woman named Vishali who leaves her small town to marry Kumar, a man settled abroad, only to find her married life crumbling within weeks. Once she arrives at his home overseas, she gradually discovers that her husband has hidden secrets and that her new life is nothing like she imagined. The story, told partly through her recounting events to a visiting actress years later, is based on a novel by Sivasankari.
