Set in a Kerala village obsessed with cricket, this coming-of-age drama follows Rameshan, a talented young batsman whose passion for the sport clashes with his father's hopes that he pursue a formal career. As years pass, Rameshan's cricketing dreams give way to a modest working life and family responsibilities, while the story also traces his bond with his own son, who inherits his love of the game. Spanning two generations, the film uses the backdrop of India's 1983 World Cup win to explore themes of ambition, family expectation, and unfulfilled dreams.
