This 2011 Telugu-Tamil bilingual romantic drama follows a doctor who arrives in a new city under an assumed name and quietly devotes himself to helping others, including sponsoring poor children's education with the help of a photojournalist who grows close to him. As their relationship deepens, flashbacks reveal an earlier chapter of his life in San Francisco, including a marriage and a devastating medical diagnosis that shaped the choices he now makes. The story moves between present-day India and his past abroad as his reasons for keeping his distance from those who love him slowly come into focus.
