Mayasabha follows Parmeshwar Khanna, a former film producer squatting in a crumbling old cinema with his son, whose life is upended when he joins his son's friends on a hunt for hidden treasure. As the search progresses, the story exposes hidden motives and deceptions among those involved, steadily blurring the boundary between what is real and what is imagined. The film is framed as a symbolic exploration of human greed and desire, in which viewers are led to perceive events differently than the characters themselves do.
