Cinema Bandi

In a village on the Andhra–Karnataka border, an auto rickshaw driver discovers a lost, expensive camera and, inspired by a TV segment on cheaply made hit movies, decides to shoot his own film with it. Teaming up with a photographer friend, he recruits local villagers, including a barber and a schoolgirl, as untrained actors, and the group faces various setbacks while trying to complete their amateur production. Meanwhile, the camera's actual owner searches the surrounding area determined to get it back.
