Set in the village of Vanangankudi, this 2024 Tamil drama follows a powerful upper-caste leader who has long controlled the local council presidency. When a Dalit man's death coincides with the seat becoming legally reserved for a Scheduled Caste candidate, the incumbent secretly manipulates a subservient household worker into running for the post while scheming to keep real power for himself. The story follows the struggles, humiliations, and resistance faced by the newly elected representative as he tries to claim genuine authority against entrenched caste dominance.
